Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. in Garden Grove, California is seeking a Test Engineer, Vehicle Integration (ECUs) to drive software integration and validation across vehicle ECUs, sensors, and platforms.

You will work with the Vector toolchain, CAN tools, and diagnostics to ensure robust ECU communications and fault-free operation. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, calibration, network analysis, and root-cause investigation, with opportunities in ADAS firmware validation and multi-core MCU/SoC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years automotive software integration, HIL/SIL testing, or embedded firmware validation.
• Proven experience with Vector toolchain for measurement, calibration and simulation.
• Strong knowledge of CAN/CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, UDS and XCP.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ for test automation and embedded Linux development.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate software components across ECUs, sensors and vehicle platforms for SIL/HIL testing.
• Use CANoe/CANalyzer to simulate ECU behavior and debug network issues across CAN/CAN FD and Automotive Ethernet.
• Calibrate ECUs with CANape and analyze logs with vSignalyzer for offline data visualization.
• Analyze traces/logs with Wireshark to troubleshoot SOME/IP, DoIP, UDP and TCP on vehicle Ethernet.
• Program and configure ECUs using RaptorCAL for production units.
