Job summary

Harbinger is seeking a Software Integration & Test Engineer to drive vehicle embedded systems and ADAS firmware. You will bridge software and hardware, validate ECU communications, troubleshoot networks, and ensure the integrity of our software stacks on the EV platform.

This role relies on the Vector toolchain, CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, and Wireshark to measure, calibrate, and analyze data from CAN, CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, and XCP-enabled logs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS.
• 3+ years in automotive software integration, HIL/SIL testing, or embedded firmware validation.
• Proven experience with Vector toolchain for measurement and calibration.
• Strong Python and C/C++ skills for test automation and scripting.
• Experience with Embedded Linux and ROS2/DDS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate software components across ECUs and vehicle platforms.
• Perform SIL, HIL, and vehicle-level testing activities.
• Use CANoe/CANalyzer to simulate behavior and debug networks.
• Calibrate ECUs with CANape, perform data measurement with XCP.
• Analyze logs with Wireshark and replay systems to identify bugs.
• Profile CPU/memory and optimize software stack performance.
• Lead root-cause analysis for system-level issues.
