Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering (or similar) with 7+ years in validation testing and system integration.
• Experience with NI hardware (PXIe-RT, cRIO, cDAQ) and real-time/FPGA coding.
• Strong understanding of dynamometer system layout for high-voltage EV powertrains.
• Proficient in software development and scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute component and system-level testing of electric motors and drive units in the lab.
• Enhance testing efficiency with software development and test automation.
• Design electrical control panels for automated test systems (power, grounding, fuses, relays).
• Develop automated test software using LabVIEW or similar languages for test hardware control.
• Analyze data to reproduce and characterize failures for rapid resolution.
• Architect dynamometers and HIL systems for development testing.
• Document designs, schematics, software logic, and test procedures.
