Qualifications

• BSEE or BSME degree, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of closely related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
• Ability to cultivate and manage relationships of varying levels in/out of the organization, including supplier.
• Ability to acclimate to new environments, negotiate through unknowns and meet new people.
• Ability to manage time effectively and productively.
• Solid quantitative/analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Computer skills, such as PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, Word, CANalyzer etc.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration skill(s).

Responsibilities

• Break down project concept details into required development activities and decide the ECU development plan with guidance from Technical Leadership.
• Design engineering specifications for Body/Powertrain ECU applications, including hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis and design solutions for vehicle systems.
• Test and verify ECU specifications related to hardware and software in prototypes or mass production vehicles.
• Identify improvements to processes and procedures to increase efficiency and metrics.
• Manage documentation across concurrent developments and communicate with Technical Leadership.
• Coordinate with suppliers to align requirements and schedules.
