Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is seeking a General Assembly Vehicle Engineering Associate/Specialist to lead vehicle launch activities, prepare specifications, and coordinate cross-functional teams for successful production readiness.

The role requires strong engineering background, travel readiness, and the ability to partner with teams in Korea and the USA to optimize assembly processes and ensure quality.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• No reason for disqualification for overseas travel or stay.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency.
• CATIA, CAD familiarity preferred.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Domestic/International travel required.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as technical expert of assigned area during vehicle launches.
• Coordinate and lead project activities, including new equipment installation, supplier selection, and implementation phases.
• Prepare spec package after reviewing requirements (Quality, Safety, UPH, Layout, Ergonomics).
• Communicate with Advanced Vehicle Manufacturing Engineering Team in Korea and other R&D teams for successful launch.
• Host video conferences for new vehicle design improvement and status follow-up.
