Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent required.
• 0–10 years of job related experience in an engineering/industrial environment preferred.
• Experience in automotive assembly process is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop production processes and related systems to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop line balancing and standards; manage allocation studies before launches.
• Apply LEAN methods to improve efficiency and quality in production.
• Conduct motion and time studies to identify process improvements.
• Analyze production data for trends in Utilization, Quality, Safety and Cost.
• Develop cost reduction strategies with ROI justification for changes.
• Collaborate with engineers and departments to implement improvements.
• Create training materials on LEAN concepts and procedures.
• Prepare and deliver training for Team Members on new processes.
• Ensure processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct downtime delay studies to identify root causes.
• Plan layouts for new equipment/workspaces for maximum efficiency.
• Model line layouts using CAD to identify storage and handling improvements.
• Work with safety teams to address ergonomic and safety issues.
• Use PFMEA for process setup and restraints.
