Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks a seasoned manufacturing leader to oversee technical operations in a high‑volume EV mass‑production environment. You will guide teams, manage labor allocation, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate new equipment installs and plant readiness.

Qualifications include 5+ years in vehicle production management, data analysis capability, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Management experience in vehicle production (minimum 5 years).
• Experience with production (minimum 5 years).
• Knowledge and experience in data analysis and developing proposals.
• Off-line work (repair work) experience (or expert) in assembly line.
• Job related experience in an engineering/industrial environment.
• Experience or knowledge of set-up process for new assembly plant.
• Experience or knowledge of hiring and education process for new assembly plant.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for Team Members including technical training, as required.
• Serve as technical expert of assigned area during vehicle launches.
• Support daily production issues as required.
• Prepare presentations/reports on current projects, progress, and issues to management.
• Understand and control labor allocation.
• Coordinate and lead project activities, including new equipment installation, supplier selection, and implementation phases.
• Analyze and continuously improve performance of assigned area (safety, quality, production, cost, and human factors).
• Participate in Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and other problem-solving teams, as directed by Senior Management.
• Continually review technical developments in area of responsibility and propose new technology projects as appropriate.
