Job summary

ORANGE EV LLC is seeking an Electric Vehicle Service Technical Trainer to empower service technicians with hands-on skills for servicing zero-emission Class 8 trucks. Training spans basic electrical theory to advanced diagnostics, with sessions mainly at headquarters and up to 20% travel for field engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in vehicle electrical systems or related field.
• Experience as trainer or instructor.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Deep understanding of CAN bus, BMS, and high-voltage EV systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain structured training modules from basic electrical theory to EV diagnostics.
• Develop and deliver in-person lab sessions, classroom instruction, and demonstrations.
• Create and maintain remote/online training courses for distributed teams.
• Collaborate with Service Support and Engineering to reflect updates and learnings.
• Partner with third-party organizations and OEMs to develop training content.
