Orange EV seeks an Electric Vehicle Service Technical Specialist to support field technicians and diagnose complex vehicle issues. You will work with product engineering to create tools that educate and advance knowledge of diagnostics and repair for electric powertrains.
The role emphasizes high-voltage safety, hands-on troubleshooting, and collaboration across engineering and manufacturing teams. Travel may be required.
Qualifications
- High-voltage safety certification familiarity and live-dead-live testing approach.
- Experience writing procedures, troubleshooting guides, and service bulletins.
- Strong knowledge of lithium-ion battery health, BMS, and thermal management.
Responsabilités
- Assist technicians via phone, video, or in person with diagnosis and repair.
- Develop technical training materials including Troubleshooting Guides and Service Manuals.
- Provide daily technical support to Orange EV Field Service and Customer Technicians.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Service Team Members on current and future programs.
- Support Product Engineering with diagnostics tools and education initiatives.
- Set up diagnostic computers and tooling for service work.
