Orange EV is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade electric vehicles in the field across the region. You will collaborate with customers and third‑party providers to ensure optimal performance and safety.

The role requires travel for initial training and ongoing service, with emphasis on remote monitoring data, accurate reporting, and hands‑on maintenance. Strong customer service and teamwork with the service staff are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; related technical degree preferred.
• 1+ years' experience in the automotive or electrical industries.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, TEAMS).
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing superior customer service.
• Analytical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Understand the complete vehicle at a systemic level to diagnose and repair.
• Represent Orange EV in a professional manner.
• Utilize the Remote Monitoring System and service record-keeping system to plan a service plan and prioritize customer needs.
• Accurately record all service activity in the service record-keeping system.
• Communicate with customers and third-party service providers to aid in diagnosis or issue escalation.
• Work with the site manager and the electrician regarding charging infrastructure logistics.
• Evaluate conversion vehicle candidates and prepare a thorough report on the condition.
• Support Customer Technicians and Third-Party Service Providers with ancillary repairs.
• Provide a secure location for tools, parts, and other necessary items.
• Deliver Operator and Maintenance training and assist with sales and business development.
• Travel as required for initial training and to ensure service goals are met.
