Job summary

Orange EV, a pioneer in all-electric trucks, is seeking an Electric Vehicle Service Technical Specialist. You will support remote technicians and field personnel, troubleshoot complex vehicle systems, and collaborate with product engineering to advance diagnostics and repair tools.

The role emphasizes high-voltage safety, hands-on diagnostics, and creating training materials. Occasional travel and a mix of in-office and remote work are expected as part of a dynamic field service team.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or technical certification in a related field.
4+ years automotive or related technical experience.
Occasional travel may be required.
HV safety certification preferred (e.g., NFPA 70E).
ASE L3 or equivalent credentials preferred.
Ability to lift components up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assist technicians via phone, video call or in person with diagnosis and repair.
Develop training materials including Troubleshooting Guides, R&R instructions, Service Manuals, Retrofit Instructions.
Daily Technical support of Orange EV Field Service and Customer Technicians.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Service Team Members.
Work with Product Engineering on current and future product programs.
Service Diagnostic Computer and Tooling setup.
