Job summary

Orange EV, a fast-growing EV manufacturer, seeks an Electric Vehicle Service Technical Trainer to empower technicians with hands-on skills for servicing zero-emission Class 8 trucks. You will design training from foundational theory to advanced diagnostics and deliver sessions at Orange EV HQ with up to 20% travel for field and partner engagements.

You will lead onboarding, ongoing skills development, and competency assessments, collaborating with Service Support and Engineering to ensure

Qualifications

• 5+ years in vehicle electrical systems or a related technical field; training experience is a plus.
• Experience diagnosing automotive class 8 or heavy-duty trucks.
• Proven ability to teach complex concepts to varied audiences.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, CAN, BMS, and high-voltage EV systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and improve training programs from basics to advanced EV diagnostics.
• Develop in-person labs, classroom sessions, and remote training courses.
• Collaborate with Service Support and Engineering to reflect current product updates.
• Lead competency assessments and track student progress and certifications.
• Onboard new technicians and support ongoing skill development; promote continuous learning.
