Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Service Advisor in Minnesota to be the primary contact for owners, guiding them through the service experience from appointment to handover. You will translate technical details, manage expectations, and coordinate with parts and production to deliver a seamless visit.

The role emphasizes empathy, organization, and brand-aligned hospitality, with opportunities across entry-level to senior advisor levels and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Available for a 40-hour week, including weekends/holidays and varied shifts.
• Proficient with laptops, computers and modern software suites.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for owners, managing the service experience from appointment to handover.
• Listen to owner concerns, document them, and set clear expectations.
• Translate technician notes into simple language for owners.
• Provide status updates and manage timelines with transparency.
• Coordinate with Parts and Production to align service activities.
• Explain estimates and invoices clearly and accurately.
• Maintain records of communications and repairs, meeting performance metrics.
