Job summary

Lucid Motors in New York seeks a Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service throughout the service process. You will greet clients, document concerns, and explain repair options with time and cost estimates.

You will coordinate with technicians, track vehicles through maintenance, ensure repairs meet Lucid’s quality standards, manage loaner vehicles and signatures, and drive customer satisfaction from intake to vehicle handover.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years automotive service experience or training in a service advisor/front-of-house role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Proficiency in documenting details clearly for smooth workflow in a DMS.
• Ability to explain automotive concepts to customers of varying knowledge levels.
• Full-time availability, including weekends or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and guide them through the service experience from start to finish.
• Conduct vehicle check-ins and document any damage or wear for diagnosis and repair.
• Coordinate with technicians and loaner vehicles, including arranging rides when needed.
• Uphold the CSI KPI and ensure customers are satisfied with service quality.
• Review work orders and ensure accurate time punches and documentation.
• Obtain service authorizations and payments; explain invoices to customers.
• Address warranty claim rejections promptly to maintain efficiency.
• Capture customer signatures and complete necessary paperwork via DocuSign.
• Provide phone support and answer client questions; direct inquiries as needed.
• Serve as final QC step to ensure work meets Lucid’s standards.
