Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Service Advisor in San Jose to deliver exceptional customer service throughout the service process. You will greet clients, consult with technicians, document concerns, and explain repair options with clear cost estimates.

You will track vehicles through maintenance and ensure quality before return to customers. Qualified candidates have 2–5 years in a service-advisor role, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with MS Office and DMS software.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of automotive service advisor or front-of-house experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient demeanor.
• Ability to document details clearly for smooth workflow.
• Ability to explain automotive terms to customers of varying knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and proprietary DMS software.

Responsibilities

• Inform clients throughout the service experience from first contact to vehicle handover.
• Conduct inspections and check-in processes for customer vehicles, reporting any damage.
• Check in new vehicles and document transport damage on PDI vehicles for BOL accuracy.
• Coordinate loaner agreements and Lyft rides when needed.
• Uphold the CSI KPI and ensure customer satisfaction with services.
• Review work orders for accurate documentation and time punches.
• Address warranty claim rejections promptly to maintain efficiency.
• Collect signatures for service authorization and invoices via DocuSign and collect payments.
• Explain repairs to customers to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
• Greet service clients and answer questions; direct calls and messages as needed.
• Perform final QC to ensure Lucid standards before delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
