Harbinger, an American EV company, is seeking a Quality Engineer to define and implement quality processes across Engineering, Suppliers, Purchasing, and Manufacturing. The role focuses on establishing and maintaining the QMS and driving continuous improvement in operations and outputs.

The ideal candidate will have a engineering degree, 3–8 years in manufacturing or supplier quality, automotive/aerospace experience, and relevant ASQ certifications or Lean Six Sigma training, with travel up to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or similar technical degree.
• Three to eight years of experience in manufacturing quality or supplier quality.
• Automotive or aerospace manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, CQM) or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO-9001:2018 or IATF 16949 preferred.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality standards and manufacturing quality processes.
• Inspect materials, equipment, processes and products to ensure quality specs.
• Collaborate with production leadership to implement controls and improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead MRB meetings and participate in the engineering change control board.
• Develop forms and instructions for collecting, analyzing and reporting quality data.
• Lead KPI implementations with internal manufacturing team, contract manufacturers and suppliers.
