Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead the quality control team on the shop floor, ensuring all products and processes meet Harbinger standards and regulatory requirements.

This role links frontline inspections with high‑level quality strategy through team leadership and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include supervising inspectors, driving data‑driven decisions, and collaborating with engineering and production to reduce defects using Lean/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in quality assurance/control within an automotive manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all manufacturing processes and finished products comply with internal standards and external regulations.
• Defect Management: Lead investigations into non‑conformances, customer complaints, and quality deviations.
• Audit Support: Conduct regular internal quality audits of the production floor and assist with external customer or regulatory audits.
• Data & Reporting: Track KPIs such as MRB rates, defect rates, and first‑pass yield. Prepare daily and weekly quality reports for management.
• Continuous Improvement: Work with engineering and production teams to identify process bottlenecks and implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve product consistency.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all testing and measuring equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
