Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc.–an American commercial EV company–is seeking a Field Quality Engineer to serve as the front-line detective for uptime and durability across our vehicle systems. You will bridge real-world performance with engineering design, using hands-on troubleshooting and advanced data analytics to solve issues before they affect customers.

You will lead failure analysis, predictive reliability, and collaboration with hardware and software teams to translate field data into actionable

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering (or equivalent).
3–10 years of experience in Field Quality, Reliability Engineering, or a similar EV/automotive role.
Strong proficiency in data management tools (SQL, Python, or BI platforms).
Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, CANalyzer/CANoe).
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Failure Analysis & Troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
Predictive Reliability using statistical tools to forecast failures.
Product Reliability Engineering with hardware and software teams to implement reliability growth plans.
Data Management & Analytics of field performance data for rapid iteration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration with Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing on RCA and CAPA.
