Job summary

Rivian in Kentucky seeks a Remanufacturing Technician II to safely disassemble and reassemble EV propulsion components, recording conditions and data to support reliability and quality. You will work with cross-functional teams, assist with tests and repairs, and help meet production goals while maintaining 5S standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of automotive or mechanical/electrical production experience, understands EV components, and can operate low voltage testing equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years automotive repair or mechanical/electrical production experience preferred.
• Ability to identify EV propulsion system components (electrical & mechanical).
• Basic understanding of low voltage electrical testing.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, record condition, and reassemble field return parts accurately.
• Support cross-functional teams to identify root causes.
• Assist senior technicians with tests, repairs, and end-of-line tests.
• Inspect and report inspection findings clearly.
• Meet production goals and support campaigns and containment.
• Maintain safe, organized 5S work environment.
• Document repairs performed and in progress.
