Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician in Kentucky to support Rivian vehicle repairs and provide in-field or remote assistance as needed. The role spans service centers, customer sites, and occasional travel to production locations.

Ideal candidates have automotive experience, comfort with EV systems, and a willingness to work flexible hours. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and delivering high-quality, professional service to Rivian customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Proficient with Windows or Mac computers and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install and inspect vehicles at service centers or on-site at customer locations.
• Identify Rivian products and EV framework and communicate with customers.
• Follow repair procedures and safety standards; use available resources.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and performance.
• Manage parts orders, receiving, shipping and inventory as needed.
• Document all work and notes clearly for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
• Stay current with training and maintain high quality workmanship.
