Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid vehicles at client locations. You will travel within assigned territory using a provided service van and work both independently and with a service team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualified applicants have 2–5 years of automotive service experience, HV/LV knowledge, and EPA 609 certifications. You will document all interactions, support service center needs, and may participate in CPR

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience as an automotive service technician.
Self-sufficient, highly organized, and comfortable working independently or in a team.
Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrain.
Customer facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn proprietary DMS software.
EPA 609 Certification.
Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training post hire.
Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.
Preferred: ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4 - ADAS).
Preferred: EV diagnosis experience and luxury automotive repair background.

Responsibilities

Function as a Service Advisor and handle parts duties including ordering, returns, and inventory management.
Work directly with clients to provide a high level of customer experience.
Document all customer vehicle interactions using the software suite.
Maintain knowledge of High Voltage, Low Voltage, and EV systems.
Perform walk-around and write-up to accurately ascertain primary concerns.
Document customer concerns for diagnosis and repair.
Follow repair order documentation procedures.
Invoice and collect payments.
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and update customers on repair status.
Plan travel time and visit duration for mobile services.
Provide support at Service Center as needed.
Travel within assigned territory and to other service locations.
Other duties as assigned.
