Job summary

Rivian Automotive seeks a junior to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs and inspections. You will work under senior technicians to grow technical acumen while delivering exceptional customer experiences at local service centers.

The role may involve remote work, mobile service, or plant support as business needs evolve. Applicants should have 0–3 years in automotive settings, basic EV exposure, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 0–3 years hands-on experience in automotive shop or technical environment.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks; startup experience is a plus.
• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair school/program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures safely and efficiently.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and safety.
• Assist with parts operations: ordering, receiving, inventory, and expenses.
• Maintain detailed technical notes for repairs.
