Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. The role is based in the Bethel Park area and may require travel to various locations, including production sites, to provide vehicle support as needed.

You will diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles in-service centers or on-site at customer locations, collaborating with a team and maintaining detailed documentation. A 40-hour week with potential for weekends or shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Clean driving record; 21+ years old.
• Able to drive non-commercial truck and trailer preferred.
• Available for 40-hour week including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Fluent English reading and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections, at a service center or in the field.
• Identify and explain Rivian products, EV framework, tools, and accessories.
• Follow Rivian repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts, including ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Document all work and technical notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and maintain high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Communicate professionally in customer-facing situations.
• Stay current with required training and technical skills.
