Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs in Utah. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing and inspecting Rivian EVs at service centers or on-site locations, with travel to customer sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has automotive hands-on experience, EV knowledge, and strong customer-facing skills. You will collaborate with a team, document technical notes, and stay current with Rivian training across platforms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to drive and maintain a clean driving record.
• Proficient with laptops/computers in Windows or Mac environments.
• Strong organizational skills and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or field locations.
• Identify Rivian product line, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow Rivian repair procedures with focus on quality and safety.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory.
• Document work notes for internal and external use.
• Communicate professionally in customer-facing situations.
