Job summary

Orange EV seeks a Field Service Technician to perform field repairs and diagnostics on local EV fleets. You will collaborate with customers and third-party providers, perform field upgrades, and assist with training and sales support.

The role requires travel for training and service delivery, lifting up to 50 lbs, and strong problem-solving skills. A technical background and experience in automotive/electrical fields are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive or electrical industries.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs at waist level.
• Willingness to travel for training and service goals.

Responsibilities

• Understand the vehicle system to diagnose and repair.
• Represent Orange EV professionally to customers.
• Use Remote Monitoring System to plan service actions.
• Document all service activity in the records system.
• Communicate with customers and third parties to escalate issues.
• Coordinate with site managers on charging infrastructure logistics.
• Evaluate vehicle conversion candidates and report findings.
• Support customers and third-party providers with repairs.
• Provide secure tool and parts storage at sites.
• Deliver operator and maintenance training and assist sales.
