Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. The role may involve remote work or travel to various locations, including the production plant, and is open to multiple seniority levels depending on business needs.

Expect a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service. Based in Hawaii, the role requires a 40-hour week including possible weekends and shifts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in an automotive shop preferred, open to entry-level to career technicians.
• Experience with EV or hybrid repair is a plus.
• Experience with parts departments, billing and work orders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with diagnosis, repairs, installations and inspections at a service center or in the field.
• Identify Rivian product line, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures with quality and safety in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations including ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory.
• Document all work and technical notes for internal and external use.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
