Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs in New York. The role involves working at service centers or on-site at customer locations, with travel as needed to support business needs.

The position is open across multiple seniority levels, requires a 40-hour week with a 5pm–2am shift, and includes a 15% pay differential between 6pm and 6am. EV experience is preferred and strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• EV/hybrid repair experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install and inspect vehicles at service center or in the field.
• Identify Rivian product line, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
