Job summary

Rivian seeks an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow technical acumen while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will support EV repairs, inspections, and field service, under mentors as you gain independence.

Role flexibility includes a service center base with potential remote work or mobile assignments, requiring strong communication and a passion for innovation and adventure.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to learn EV systems under mentorship.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, and inspections across service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product lines, EV frameworks, tools and accessories under senior technicians.
• Conduct road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety.
• Assist parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory, and expense reporting.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation for repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners at facilities or events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns and training.
