Canoo is seeking a Sr. Exterior Engineer to lead a talented team of automotive engineers, delivering exterior components on time and with exceptional quality. You will collaborate with design, supplier quality, and program management, and guide external suppliers from design to build.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on automotive closures experience.
• Advanced knowledge of EV automotive landscape.
• Experience with Catia 3DX.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop exterior components.
• Initiate cross-functional development to ensure high-quality designs that meet system requirements.
• Collaborate with the studio team to provide feedback and generate A-surfaces that satisfy DFM.
• Section development to support overall vehicle design.
• Mentor less experienced team members.
• Proactively communicate issues to all stakeholders.
