Job summary

Canoo in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a Senior Interior Engineer to join a motivated automotive engineering team. You will develop interior systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with design, engineering, and supplier teams to deliver high-quality interiors.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive engineering and 3+ years interior experience, with CATIA 3DX familiarity. On-site position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in automotive engineering.
• 3+ years of interior experience required.
• Experience with CATIA 3DX is required.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, develop and execute interior systems that comply with ECE / FMVSS regulations.
• Collaborate with design, styling and Engineering teams early in development.
• Deliver optimal balance of form, function, performance and cost.
• Implement processes and material selections for cutting-edge interiors.
• Complete and release interior components and drawings with documentation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and support vehicle development milestones.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Procurement for feasibility and serviceability.
