Job summary

Harbinger is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to define, develop, and verify HV and LV system-level requirements for its EV platform. The role focuses on HV/LV architectures, charging integration, energy/thermal management, and safety across electrical domains.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automotive systems engineering with BEV experience, strong knowledge of BEV systems, and familiarity with ISO 26262, IEC 61508 or MIL-STD-882E. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems engineering in automotive BEV architectures and HV/LV systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document HV and LV system architectures, specifications, and electrical power budgets.
• Write requirements, fault-management strategies, and test plans for HV and LV subsystems.
• Collaborate with Powertrain, Battery, Harness, Functional Safety, and Software teams to meet vehicle targets and regulatory standards.
• Define vehicle operational power modes and manage LV power consumption across states.
• Define logic for AC/DC fast charging protocols and charging interface standards.
