Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for Charging Systems to join a multi-disciplinary engineering team developing next‑generation high‑voltage charging architectures. You will own MBSE-driven requirements, drive cross-functional collaboration with product management, vehicle engineering, software and verification teams to deliver robust charging features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 4+ years delivering automotive systems engineering in a production environment.
• Deep MBSE experience driving design, analysis, and development workflows.
• Knowledge of vehicle charging standards (SAE J1772/J3400, ISO 15118) and ISO 26262.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end capture and definition of requirements for charging features.
• Shape charging architectures using MBSE and cross-domain integration across vehicle systems.
• Translate high‑level features into implementable subsystem requirements.
• Collaborate with Safety Engineers to develop safety concepts using FMEA/FTA.
• Define test strategies with verification & validation teams and ensure execution.
• Work with HV domain and software teams on performance requirements.
