Job summary

Pearce Services in Des Moines, IA seeks an EV Charging Field Service Technician to repair and maintain EV charging stations across a regional area, focusing on safety, electrical maintenance, and accurate field reporting.

Qualifications

• Electrical – Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
• 2+ years EVSE field service or equivalent experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to read manuals and OEM documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on EV charging devices.
• Conduct insulation, thermal, torque, and other electrical tests as required.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and isolate faults in EV charging systems.
• Review site manuals and drawings to service equipment safely and effectively.
• Own work from scheduling to completion; complete field reports and work orders.
