Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Technician to repair and maintain EV charging stations across a defined geographic region. You will handle on-site electrical and mechanical maintenance, safety assessments, and field reporting, working independently under various site conditions.

The role requires hands-on experience with EV chargers and related power electronics, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to complete work orders in a CMMS system.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• CMMS usage to generate and track site work requests.
• Must be able to read/write/speak English.
• Work in various weather and field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades on EV chargers.
• Inspect equipment with insulation tests, thermal imaging, and torque tests.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning to ensure on-time maintenance and accurate work orders.
• Review site manuals and drawings for proper service.
• Conduct field maintenance and complete work orders; document issues.
