Job summary

Pearce Services in St. Louis, MO is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Technician to maintain and repair EV charging stations in a defined region.

You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, safety checks, and field reporting to ensure uptime and contract compliance. The role requires independent work in varied outdoor conditions, weekend-schedule flexibility, and hands-on expertise with Level 2 and DC fast chargers, insulating tests, torque checks, and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience servicing electrical power equipment in commercial/utility sectors.
• Strong electrical, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CMMS for work orders and reports.
• English reading/writing/speaking required for safety and communication.

Responsibilities

• Repair, test and upgrade EV charging equipment including Level 2 and DC fast chargers.
• Perform insulation testing, thermal imaging, torque tests and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot faults, document findings, and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Work with Planning/Scheduling to meet maintenance timelines.
• Conduct site safety assessments and use PPE as required.
