Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a skilled EV Charging Field Service Technician for onsite repair and maintenance of EV charging stations in California. The role requires electrical expertise and the ability to work independently in various conditions.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $25.00–$32.00 based on experience and qualifications, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Technical knowledge of EV chargers, solar power installations, or other power electronics is preferred.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Onsite repair and maintenance of EV charging stations.
• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to equipment.
• Work closely with the Planning and Scheduling team.
• Conduct fieldwork including preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Document all issues at the site in the work order system.
