Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Electrician to perform on-site repair and maintenance of EV charging stations across a designated region. The role emphasizes independent work, safety on-site, and adherence to contract requirements.

The pay range is $28.00 to $40.00 per hour, DOE, with company vehicle and tools supplied. Core responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and servicing EV chargers from Level 2 to DC fast charging, plus documenting site activities and

Qualifications

Electrical – Certified Electrician (Journeyman level) required by state
2+ years’ experience servicing electrical power equipment in commercial/utility energy
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical/electronic/mechanical domains
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking English for safety and communication
Experience using CMMS to generate, track, and complete site work requirements

Responsibilities

Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to EV chargers from Level 2 to DC fast charging
Conduct insulation testing, thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations
Troubleshoot performance issues and locate/isolate ground faults
Coordinate with Planning/Scheduling to ensure maintenance schedules and work orders are completed on time
Review site manuals/drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment
