Job summary

Electrify America is seeking a Technical Field Service Manager for an all on-site role in Ashburn, VA. You will serve as the primary technical liaison with equipment manufacturers, review service bulletins, and coordinate with OEM teams to validate repairs and improvements across the charging network.

The role demands deep EV charging knowledge, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to guide field teams, NOC, and Engineering. Travel is minimal with a strong focus on safety and standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in field service, engineering, or technical operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
• Experience with multi‑OEM equipment and EV charging systems is highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and field coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical liaison between Electrify America and equipment manufacturers for charging equipment issues.
• Review service bulletins, firmware/hardware updates, and approved repair procedures.
• Coordinate with OEMs and Engineering for troubleshooting steps and corrective actions.
• Translate technical findings into actionable guidance for NOC, field teams, and leadership.
• Support field escalations and maintain safety and technical standards.
