Electric Era Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Technician to support the commissioning and maintenance of our battery-backed DC fast charging stations.

This role splits time roughly 50/50 between maintenance and commissioning, including troubleshooting, repairs, setup, testing, and thorough documentation of all work. You will collaborate with engineers, logistics teams, and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and reliability standards are met, travel up to 50% across the United States, and perform

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 4 years of direct work experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems, with proficiency in mechanical assembly and maintenance.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% for field-based work.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, including electrical circuits, control systems and mechanical components of electrical equipment.
• Travel to customer sites across the U.S. and perform onsite electrical maintenance and repair.
• Coordinate with logistics and maintenance vendors; inspect vendor-completed work to ensure adherence to standards.
• Interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation to conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning activities.
• Work safely on high‑voltage 480V 3‑phase systems, applying lockout/tagout, PPE, grounding, and arc‑flash safety practices.
• Lead and provide direction to teams of contractors during commissioning and maintenance operations.
