Job summary

Pearce is seeking a skilled EV Charging Field Service Electrician to repair and maintain EV charging stations in a defined region. The role requires site safety, electrical system maintenance, and thorough field reporting under contract.

Independence and field work under varied conditions are essential. The position demands certification as a Journeyman Electrician, 2+ years in service of electrical power equipment, and proficiency with CMMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician (Journeyman level) required.
• 2+ years' experience servicing electrical power equipment in commercial/utility energy.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using CMMS to generate, track, and close site work.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on EV chargers from Level 2 to DC fast chargers.
• Conduct insulation/megger tests, thermal imaging, torque tests, performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning/Scheduling to keep maintenance on schedule.
• Review site manuals/drawings for proper service of equipment.
• Perform field preventive and corrective maintenance and document work orders.
