Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Electrician to repair and maintain EV charging stations across a defined region in the United States. You will work independently in the field, performing electrical and mechanical maintenance, safety checks, and detailed site reporting.

Strong troubleshooting and CMMS skills are essential, with English fluency required. Core duties include OEM tests, insulation checks, and coordinating with Planning to meet service schedules.

Qualifications

• Electrical – Certified Electrician (Journeyman level) from a relevant state is REQUIRED.
• 2+ years’ equivalent experience servicing electrical power equipment in commercial/utility fields.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting; EV charger knowledge preferred.
• Experience using CMMS to generate and track site work requirements.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently; English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades on EV chargers from Level 2 to DC fast chargers.
• Conduct insulation testing, thermal imaging, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning to maintain schedules and complete work orders on time.
• Review manuals and drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance.
• In-field maintenance, reporting, and timely work order completion.
• Document all site issues in the work order system and address promptly.
