Job summary

Terawatt Infrastructure seeks a Construction Project Engineer to help develop EV charging infrastructure nationwide. You will work with Senior Construction PMs, Development, Real Estate and Utility teams to support permitting, interconnection, engineering, and contractor engagement.

You will gain proficiency in Procore and Smartsheets, support schedules and budgets, and grow with a team delivering world-class charging solutions for fleets and heavy-duty trucks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in construction, project management, or site development.
• Foundational understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with Smartsheets and Google Workspace.
• Interest in EV, energy storage, or renewable energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of project control tools and schedules.
• Identify issues and manage tasks to advance site development.
• Research site-specific data to meet development goals.
• Assist in mitigation of project constraints.
• Contribute to schedule recommendations for timely completion.
• Prepare site documentation for internal teams and stakeholders.
• Assist in breaking projects into tasks and manage workflows.
• Schedule meetings and maintain notes and decisions.
• Support QA to meet Terawatt’s standards.
• Participate in expense management and reporting.
• Collaborate across Development, Business Development, Product, Energy & Utilities, Technology, Site Operations, and Finance.
• Advocate for electrification of transport and Terawatt’s role.
• Travel up to 30% to project sites.
