Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in New Orleans, LA, seeks an Autonomous Vehicle Fleet Manager to lead a service- technician team and deliver outstanding client experiences. This role emphasizes safety, HR responsibilities, workload optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with a focus on EV/AV technology.

The FM will drive KPI performance, mentor technicians, and manage billable hours while ensuring efficient dispatch and repair-order workflows. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with EVs or AVs is required.
• Ability to build and lead a strong team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to empower team members and drive results.
• Excellent communication to influence, persuade and act.
• Collaborative management style with a customer-service orientation.
• Ability to interpret data, drive KPIs, and identify improvements.

Responsibilities

• Safety, compliance: ensure HazReps and audits are completed; minimize incidents.
• Manage technicians: hiring, performance, scheduling, development.
• Develop technicians and promote ongoing leadership and skills.
• Oversee workload, dispatch, and minimize vehicle downtime.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems keeping vehicles in service.
• Define processes including inventory management and parts procurement.
• Accountable for billability targets and P&L.
• RO management: ensure intake, scheduling, completion and closure.
• Escalation point for disputes and customer service issues.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Procurement and stakeholders.
