Job summary

Jing-Jin Electric North America, LLC in Farmington Hills, MI, seeks an Automation Tech to analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment in a climate-controlled facility. You will work with HMIs, PLCs, robots, and servo systems to maximize production efficiency and quality.

You will perform routine maintenance, interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, and support engineering and maintenance teams while driving continuous improvements and data-driven KPIs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus.
• 3 years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and servo control circuits.
• Familiarity with HMIs, PLCs, and robotics troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and perform corrections.
• Assist Production in reaching JPH and quality targets using HMIs and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace servos, vision systems, printers, motors, and robot controllers.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.
• Develop action plans from downtime and quality trends and implement improvements.
• Perform regular maintenance on plant and production equipment.
• Cross-train Maintenance team on skills as appropriate.
