Job summary

Jing-Jin Electric North America, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain equipment and facilities at our Farmington Hills, MI production site.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of maintenance/engineering experience in manufacturing, a technical diploma or journeyperson status, and electrical licensing in Michigan. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and a clean, temperature-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or equivalent certification.
• Journeyperson status, technical diploma, or equivalent certification highly preferred.
• At least 3 years of maintenance/engineering experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Electricians must be licensed in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
• Test equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime.
• Collaborate with Machine Builders to ensure successful build of automated machines and equipment from blueprints.
• Assist in sub-assembly of tooling and fixtures.
• Record operational data for use in set-up and preventive maintenance records or programs.
• Participate in Production workshops to support continuous improvement actions.
• Advise on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations, ensuring manufacturing, maintainability and EHS requirements.
• Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.

Education

Technical diploma or equivalent certification

Journeyperson status or equivalent
