Job summary

Jing-Jin Electric North America, LLC in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking an experienced MES/automation engineer to design, implement, and maintain interfaces that transform raw materials into finished goods.

You will configure MES modules, integrate PLC/SCADA, replace paper records with eDHR, build real-time dashboards for OEE and quality, and support system outages. Knowledge of ISA-95 and Lean/Six Sigma is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs and HMI design preferred.
• Experience leading large-scale system rollouts across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain MES and Warehouse Management Systems interfaces.
• Configure MES modules to match production lines and material flow.
• Integrate PLC/SCADA with MES using OPC-UA or MQTT.
• Replace paper records with eDHR and digital work instructions.
• Build real-time dashboards for OEE, downtime, and scrap analysis.
• Support production with Level 2/3 troubleshooting.
• Ensure quality gates and traceability for compliant manufacturing.
