Job summary

ASML in Austin, TX is seeking an Upgrade Install and Relocation Generalist to lead technical execution of EUV upgrades, installs, relocations, and de-installations for customer sites. You will act as a technical escalation point and collaborate with engineering, field services, and project teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-schedule delivery.

The role requires strong problem-solving, cross-functional coordination, and hands-on experience with complex electromechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mathematics, Applied Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience supporting SCN activities on EUV systems.
• Experience installing/upgrading EUV systems in customer environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex electromechanical, system-level issues.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering escalations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical risks and issues identified during planning and execution of EUV installations, upgrades, de-installations, and relocations, providing recommendations on cycle time, resource needs, and readiness.
• Monitor project execution and proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and performance impacts, implementing mitigation plans.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex system and project-related issues, coordinating across engineering, field service, and global support centers.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting to enable rapid containment, resolution, and recovery while minimizing schedule impact.
• Manage and drive technical escalation processes, ensuring appropriate support levels and timely resolution of issues.
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to management, teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve future projects.
• Review project plans and readiness to identify gaps, resources, and constraints before deployment.
• Support NPI and Fab Operations through remote/on-site expertise for new upgrades/solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement and workforce development through skill-gap analysis and training.
