Job summary

ASML in Austin, Texas is seeking an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer to install, relocate, upgrade, and optimize advanced lithography equipment at customer sites. You will work with customers, engineers, and technical experts to ensure safe, on-schedule deployments.

The role requires a mechanical/electrical/mechatronics background, 1+ year field service experience, travel up to 80%, and strong problem-solving, documentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years of practical experience in a related field.
• Minimum one year in field service, semiconductor or high-technology manufacturing.
• Experience assembling, installing, troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of vacuum, pneumatics, hydraulics and precision alignment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, upgrade and qualify lithography systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system issues.
• Document service reports, work orders and handovers accurately.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams on challenges.
• Verify compliance with engineering and safety requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and mentor junior team members.
• Travel up to 80% within the United States and internationally as needed.
