Job summary

ASML is seeking an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer based in Austin, Texas. You will install, relocate, upgrade, and optimize highly complex lithography systems at customer sites, working with customers, engineers and technicians to ensure safety and top performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and documentation, with travel within the United States and occasional international trips, and a strong focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years of relevant experience.
• Experience in field service or similar environments.
• Experience assembling, installing, and repairing complex electromechanical equipment.
• Experience using data analysis tools and reporting applications.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing or vacuum systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, upgrade, and optimize lithography equipment and subsystems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system issues.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to address challenges.
• Analyze system performance and verify safety and quality compliance.
• Complete service reports, work orders, and handovers accurately and on time.
• Support continuous improvement and mentor less experienced teammates.
