Job summary

ASML is seeking an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer in Austin, TX, to install, relocate, upgrade, and optimize advanced lithography equipment at customer sites. You will work with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, timely deployments and high system performance.

This on-site role requires 80% travel across the United States, and candidates should have strong hands-on experience with electromechanical systems and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or two years of practical experience.
• Minimum one year field service or related technical experience.
• Experience assembling, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electromechanical equipment.
• Experience reading technical documentation, engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, vacuum systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, or related technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, upgrade, and optimize lithography systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system issues.
• Complete documentation, service reports, and project handovers accurately.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve challenges.
• Analyze system performance and verify compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and mentor junior team members when appropriate.
